How do I return my Fit to Fly (PCR) sample?

This information is for Fit to Fly PCR tests only and not for Fit to Fly (Rapid Antigen) tests.

Once you’ve completed your Fit to Fly PCR test and you're ready to return your sample to us, you can return your test(s) to our lab via Royal Mail, using the enclosed prepaid address label. We use Royal Mail Tracked 24 and you'll need to drop off your test sample at a Royal Mail Priority Postbox. It's important that you check your chosen priority postbox for collection dates and times as each postbox has it's own collection times. You can find your nearest Priority Postbox using the link below:

As always, you’ll get an email from us as soon as we’ve received your test(s), and another email 24-36 hours later to let you know that your result is available via your secure online dashboard, which is created upon registration and you can log in using the email address you used to register the test.

PLEASE NOTE: Any samples received after 2pm on a Friday or over the weekend will not be processed until Monday, therefore the 24-36 hour turnaround time may be extended. We recommend only posting samples Monday-Thursday as samples left for longer than 48 hours may not be viable.

Your test needs to be registered before returning it to us. Your returns package should only include your test. Don't send your sample back with any notes with your personal information on, or notes explaining that you can’t register your test. This is to ensure we keep your information secure and comply with government regulations for data protection. If you experience issues when registering your test, you can get further information on how to get help by clicking here.
