How will the upcoming Bank Holidays impact my order and results?

Discover how the upcoming Bank Holidays may cause delays in your orders and affect your results, and learn how to plan ahead to ensure a smooth process.

When will my order be delivered?

Due to potential delays during the the upcoming Bank Holidays it's essential to give us plenty of time to arrange your delivery and get your test kit to you for when you need it, so please ensure you order early. We use DPD for most of our UK deliveries, please see below for guidance on when you may receive your order over this period:

  • Friday 24th May 2024  - Orders placed before 12pm are expected to arrive Saturday 25th of May/Tuesday 28th of May, orders placed after 12pm will arrive on Wednesday 29th of May/Thursday 30th May.

Please note: The above dates aren't guarantees, however we'll do our best to get your order to you as soon as possible.

Although most of our orders are delivered via DPD, there are some areas that require us to use Royal Mail and may take longer. If you live in the Scottish highland/Islands, Isle of Man, Channel Isles, Isle of Wight or Northern Ireland, please click here for more information.

When should I return my sample?

If you have a sample that needs returning to our lab, please continue to use the Royal Mail Priority Postboxes. Collections from Priority Postboxes vary by location and will be affected by the Bank Holidays. It's your responsibility to check this and you can do so by using the link below and simply typing in your postcode:

Due to the expected delays in receiving samples, please use the information below to decide when to take your test and post your sample:

  • Monday 27th of May 2024 - No deliveries or collections

Please be aware that any samples returned to us during the Bank Holidays may be subject to delivery delays. Our labs are closed on the following day through the Bank Holiday period:

  • Monday 27th of May 2024 - Spring Bank Holiday
    • Last advised postal day before 12pm on Wednesday 22nd of May 2024

Samples left for longer than 48 hours may not be viable and could result in receiving a failed result. If this happens, please contact our team here and they will look into resolving this for you.

Please note: Our lab will still require a further 2-4 days (Blood Test) to process your sample once it's been received. Please also consider our lab's opening hours during this period, for more information please see below.
