How will the upcoming Bank Holidays impact my order and results?
When will my order be delivered?
Due to potential delays during the the upcoming Bank Holidays it's essential to give us plenty of time to arrange your delivery and get your test kit to you for when you need it, so please ensure you order early. We use DPD for most of our UK deliveries, please see below for guidance on when you may receive your order over this period:
- Friday 28th April - Orders placed before 3pm are expected to arrive Tuesday 2nd May, orders placed after 3pm will arrive on Wednesday 3rd May.
- Friday 5th May - Orders placed before 3pm are expected to arrive Tuesday 9th May, orders placed after 3pm will arrive on Wednesday 10th May.
- Friday 26th May - Orders placed before 3pm are expected to arrive Tuesday 30th May, orders placed after 3pm will arrive on Wednesday 31st May
Please note: The above dates aren't guarantees, however we'll do our best to get your order to you as soon as possible.
Although most of our orders are delivered via DPD, there are some areas that require us to use Royal Mail and may take longer. If you live in the Scottish highland/Islands, Isle of Man, Channel Isles, Isle of Wight or Northern Ireland, please click here for more information.
When should I return my sample?
If you have a sample that needs returning to our lab, please continue to use the Royal Mail Priority Postboxes. Collections from Priority Postboxes vary by location and will be affected by the Bank Holidays. It's your responsibility to check this and you can do so by using the link below and simply typing in your postcode:

Due to the expected delays in receiving samples, please use the information below to decide when to take your test and post your sample:
- Monday 1st May - No deliveries or collections
- Monday 8th May - No deliveries or collections
- Monday 29th May - No deliveries or collections

Samples left for longer than 48 hours may not be viable and could result in receiving a failed result. If this happens, please contact our team here and they will look into resolving this for you.
Please note: Our lab will still require a further 24-36 hours (PCR) or 2-4 days (Blood Test) to process your sample once it's been received. Please also consider our lab's opening hours during this period, for more information please see below.

Once the lab has confirmed receipt of your sample, they'll still need a further 2-4 days to process the result.
Please be aware that any samples returned to us during the Bank Holidays may be subject to delivery delays. We recommend to avoid taking and posting your sample if it's likely to arrive at the lab on or right before the 1st May, 8th May and 29th May as there could be a delay in processing your sample due to lab closure.

Please use the Royal Mail guidance above to determine when your sample will arrive at the lab.
Once the lab have confirmed receipt of your sample, they'll still need a further 24-36 hours to process the result.
You’ll still be able to see the result here for yourself within 15 minutes of taking the test and uploading a photo of your result. Our service for Rapid Antigen tests will remain operational 24/7 throughout the Bank Holidays.
